Terms of Business
Last Updated: 20 March 2026
Welcome to Oops & Wonder. These terms explain how we work and what to expect when you buy from us. By using oopsandwonder.com, you agree to these rules.
1. Who We Are
This site is operated by Alexandra Osbourne, trading as Oops & Wonder, based in the UK. You can reach us at hello@oopsandwonder.com.
2. Our Contract with You
When you place an order, it’s an offer to buy. Our contract is only officially formed when we send you a confirmation email (or when we dispatch your physical books). We reserve the right to decline an order for any reason (though we usually won't!).
3. Intellectual Property
Everything here—the stories, the squirrel (Pip!), the illustrations, and the designs—belongs to Oops & Wonder.
Personal Use: You can download and print resources for your own family or classroom use.
No Selling: You cannot sell, redistribute, or use our characters/content for your own business without a specific license from us.
4. Prices & Payment
Currency: All prices are in GBP (£).
Taxes: Prices include VAT where applicable.
International: If you’re ordering from outside the UK, you might have to pay local import duties or taxes. These are your responsibility.
Errors: If we’ve made a massive mistake in a price, we’ll contact you before shipping to see if you still want the item at the correct price.
5. Delivery & Risk
We ship physical items as quickly as we can (usually within the timeframes on the product page).
Risk: Once the postman drops the book at your door, the "risk" (it getting lost or damaged) passes to you.
Ownership: You own the book once we’ve received full payment and it has been delivered.
6. Returns & Your Right to Cancel
We want you to be 100% happy with Pip’s adventures.
Physical Products: Under UK Consumer Law, you have the right to change your mind and return a product within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund. You’ll need to pay for the return postage unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
Digital Products: Because you get these instantly, you agree that by clicking 'download' or 'access', you lose your 14-day right to cancel. These are non-refundable unless there’s a technical fault we can’t fix.
7. Future Accounts & Subscriptions
If we offer accounts or subscriptions in the future:
You must keep your login details private.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your settings, but refunds for past months aren't usually available unless the law says otherwise.
8. Limitation of Liability
We take great care in our stories, but we can't guarantee the website will be online 24/7 or that our resources will have a specific "result" for every child.
The Cap: Our liability to you is limited to the total price of the product you purchased.
The Exception: Nothing here limits our liability for things the law says we can’t limit (like personal injury caused by our negligence or fraud).
9. Your Indemnity
You agree to protect Oops & Wonder from any legal claims or costs that arise if you break these terms or misuse the site.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If we have a disagreement we can't settle over a friendly email, it will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
✨ Thank you for choosing story-led learning for your little ones!
